PROVIDING MONETARY INCENTIVES TO PRESERVE ART

We are providing Warli Painting Artists

a way to monetize their art so that more of the youth learn the ancient art form and ensure its survival.

Many of the women in the villages we have visited work in chemical factories that endanger their health. Shelter Foundation provides safer alternatives to them.

Empowering Young Minds

We are running the Shanti Ratan Vidya Mandir School in Kondgaon, Palghar, Maharashtra. Approximately 950 students are currently enrolled in this school, spanning grades 6 through 12. In 2025, 83% of students passed 12th grade.

Our unique clothing line is crafted by the talented tribal women of India, showcasing their rich heritage and artistry. Each piece tells a story, with vibrant colors and intricate patterns that celebrate the diversity of tribal cultures.

At Shelter Foundation, our journey began with a simple realization: compassion is not a feeling, but a responsibility. Every day, we witness people who, like the traveler in the Good Samaritan’s story, have been hurt by life’s hardships — poverty, crisis, abandonment, and inequality. Too often, society walks past them, burdened by its own pace, asking, “What will happen to me if I get involved?”
